Action- Sedative, carminative,anti-inflammatory (used for the treatment of nervous system,digestive system; rheumatism,fever).The root alkaloids contain bishatisine,bishaconitine, falconitine and mithaconitine. Treatment with cow’smilk reduces cardiotoxic effect of the root.
